Armen Simon co-leads Spencer Stuart’s Financial Services Practice in EMEA and leads the practice in the DACH region. In this capacity, he partners with clients as key advisor, predominantly in banking, private equity, asset and wealth management, fintech and insurance on solving their senior executive talent needs. He also is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Board and CEO Practice in EMEA. As a trusted advisor, Armen has worked with clients on numerous CEO, board and other top management searches, succession assignments and leadership advisory engagements in Europe and around the globe.
Global expertise in financial services
- Prior to joining the firm, Armen was a managing director at Allianz Group, where he implemented and led the combined capital markets, corporate finance and insurance product solutions platform for corporate clients.
- Armen spent most of his early career in banking, beginning at Deutsche Bank. He also worked for 15 years as a managing director at two major leading banks in London, Paris and New York focusing on capital markets and corporate finance advisory work for primarily global financial institutions.
Armen graduated with a doctorate in economics and management from the University of London and earned master’s degrees in business administration (Nürnberg and Henley). He is fluent in German, English and French.
