Courtney Fletcher is a senior member of Spencer Stuart’s Board, Financial Officer, Legal Officer and Private Equity practices, where she leads chief financial officer, general counsel and board searches for executive leaders and for audit committees and chairs. Based out of the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, Courtney is a recipient of the firm's prestigious Lou Rieger Quality Award, recognizing the highest levels of work and client service.

- Courtney is a trusted adviser to clients on board and leadership recruitment, succession planning, leadership development and assessment and top team effectiveness. She also leads searches for C-suite positions and supports clients in hiring and developing executive talent reporting into the C-suite.
- She has worked extensively with public company clients, including significant work within the Fortune 500, as well as private company clients across the financial services, technology, consumer and industrial sectors. Courtney has also managed relationships with large private equity clients, leading chief financial officer, general counsel and board searches for their portfolio companies.
- Courtney brings 15 years of experience in executive search and leadership advisory, with a proven track record as a catalyst for success and a deep network within the corporate officers arena. She spent the first decade of her career in investment banking and practicing as a corporate attorney.
Courtney received her law degree with honors from The George Washington University Law School. She received a bachelor’s in economics from Duke University, where she was a member of the varsity lacrosse team and an Academic All-American.
