Guido Bressani manages Spencer Stuart’s Rome and Milan offices and is a consultant in the firm’s Industrial Practice focused on the international energy transition, engineering, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. Based in Milan, he brings a range of executive leadership experience in Australasia, Europe and the United States. A former chief executive, entrepreneur and non-executive director, Guido has led leadership teams and organizations through startups, restructuring, mergers and strategic acquisitions.
Guido is also a member of the firm’s Carbon Task Force dedicated to helping clients meet their ESG requirements and pivot their commercial, strategic and people plans to meet their sustainability and decarbonization goals agenda and a core member of the HR EMEA functional practice.
An international perspective in the energy and infrastructure sectors
- Guido served in several chief executive roles, as group CEO of an Italian engineering and manufacturing contractor active in steam generation, where he launched the company’s financial restructuring initiative and as CEO of an Australian based marine contractor which he led through three years of organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
- He has held a variety of board directorships in both listed and private companies in Australia and the U.S. and was also founding partner and chief operating officer for a Houston-based buy-and-build platform startup backed by a private equity firm.
A dual citizen of Australia and Italy, Guido has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Milano.
