Julia Arco-Valley is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Industrial Practice. With more than 15 years of experience within the energy sector, including more than 12 years with one of Europe’s largest operators of energy networks and infrastructure, she is experienced in supporting industry leaders as they develop new energy solutions and helping companies on the cusp of global energy transition. Julia is based in the Frankfort office.

Most recently, Julia was founder and managing director of b.ventus, a start-up that developed a small-sized wind turbine for decentralized energy solutions.

Julia spent 12 years at E.ON Group, one of Europe’s largest operators of energy networks and infrastructure. Julia held many different positions at E.ON, with a primary focus on E.ON networks, strategy and politics. She steered several major strategy projects across the globe before founding b.ventus, which was part-owned by E.ON.
Julia is a graduate of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where she earned a master’s degree in economics. She wrote her diploma thesis on green certificates as a solution to the world’s climate problem. She is fluent in German and English, and speaks conversational Spanish.
