Kaan Okurer leads Spencer Stuart’s Istanbul office and conducts searches at both executive and board level. He also advises clients on a broad range of leadership topics in areas such as succession planning, assessment, top team effectiveness and culture consulting. He works across a wide range of industries and functional areas with a focus on Financial Services, Private Equity (both principals and portfolio) as well as diversified holding companies.
Far-reaching experience
- Kaan began his search career in the United States, working out of New York and Boston. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Kaan worked for another leading international search firm for 12 years, most recently as a senior partner. He has been operating in the Turkish market since 2004.
- Kaan is active in the community and has served on the Annual Giving Committee of the Robert College Alumni Association.
A native of Turkey, Kaan holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and is a PLD alum of the Harvard Business School.
