Maria Phong is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Singapore office and a core member of its Industrial Practice. Maria has more than 18 years of experience helping Asia Pacific’s leading industrial, consumer goods and healthcare companies with strategy, business and digital transformation, and performance.
Supply chain, healthcare and leadership expertise
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Maria was a principal with Boston Consulting Group for eight years. She was a core member of its industrial goods practice, focused on Singapore-based companies in the industrial goods and transportation sectors. She was also an advisor on large-scale transformation programs.
- Earlier, she was with KPMG’s transaction advisory services practice, where she focused on healthcare transaction services, and supported Fortune 500 healthcare firms to evaluate potential acquisition targets and valuations.
- Maria began her career with Johnson & Johnson’s pharmaceutical and medical technology businesses, focused on new business development.
Maria earned her MBA from University of Cambridge, U.K., and dual bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Illinois. She speaks English and Mandarin.
