Monisha is a core member of the UK Boards Practice, specialising in non-executive director recruitment and advisory services for clients in the UK and internationally. She has more than 15 years of board, C-suite executive search and leadership advisory experience across a variety of industries. Monisha is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) and leads Spencer Stuart’s UK DE&I efforts.
Professional Experience
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Monisha was with another leading global executive search firm, where she was a key member of the global pharmaceuticals and biotech practice. In that role, Monisha worked with investors and biopharmaceutical companies in Europe and the US. She also co-led the healthcare services practice in Europe, with a focus on private-equity backed healthcare services companies.
- Earlier in her career, Monisha was at Publicis Healthcare Group, leading communications and marketing solutions for pharmaceutical clients.
- She began her career in molecular neurobiology research.
Monisha earned a PhD in molecular neuroscience from Kings College London and a bachelor’s degree in applied biology at Imperial College London. Monisha is fluent in English and Bengali.
