Shishir Chandra Deo is a consultant based in Spencer Stuart’s New Delhi office and a member of its Financial Services Practice. He has 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, including eight years with Citibank and 11 plus years in the life insurance industry.

- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Shishir spent 11 years in various verticals within the insurance industry, most recently leading group sales, business development and strategy at Future Generali Life Insurance.
- In 2008, Shishir was a founding member of a new insurance company, Aegon Religare Life Insurance Company, and focused on the company’s agency distribution strategy. Post this he worked with Aviva Life insurance and was a part of the corporate sales and business development verticals.
- Earlier, Shishir worked at Citibank in the assets business, as well as in branch and business banking.
Shishir earned his MBA in marketing and finance from The Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University and his BA in economics from St. Stephens College, Delhi University. In addition to English, Shishir speaks Hindi, Oriya and Telugu.
