Sarah Harte is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Financial Services and Financial Officer practices. With almost 20 years of executive search and talent advisory experience across Sydney, Hong Kong and New York, she brings cross-collaboration and in-depth capital markets knowledge. Sarah has been involved in executive search, succession planning, strategic diversity initiatives, cultural assessment and leadership development for global and domestic investment banks, asset management firms, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, private equity firms, hedge funds and financial technology firms. She is also co-leader of Unidad, Spencer Stuart's Latin American and Hispanic Employee Resource Group. She brings deep and global experience in executive search, talent advisory, succession planning, diversity, equity & inclusion focused projects.

  • Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Sarah was co-global head of the Global Markets practice at another global executive search firm, specializing in leadership positions across fixed income, equities, and strategic diversity initiatives. During this time, she lived and worked in Sydney, Hong Kong, and New York.
  • Sarah has a deep track record having placed senior executives in leadership positions globally across banks, official institutions, exchanges, asset management firms, private equity, and sovereign wealth funds.
  • Previously Sarah was a principal consultant with a boutique executive search firm in Sydney, Australia where she focused on chief financial officer and treasury assignments across financial services, property, and industrials clients.
  • She started her career in Human Capital & Advisory at Ernst & Young where she focused on expatriate taxation and was a member of the specialist advisory team focusing on a range of issues for individual and corporate clients.

Sarah holds a B.A. & LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) from the Australian National University.
